Alsager Community Support Centre

Alsager Community Support Centre is an outreach project of the church, which opened in Jan 2015, built on land adjoining the rear of our main building, easily accessible from Fairview (Civic) car park. The centre also houses Alsager & District Foodbank.

The Centre is managed by Volunteer Liz Pinkney, now assisted by our full time Operations Manager Dawn Roberts.

The Support Centre is staffed by trained friendly volunteers, working in partnership with many other local organisations. Our volunteers are available every weekday morning to offer help, support, information and advice to anyone whatever their need.  We can help with practical tasks such as form filling, letter writing, phone calls, searching the internet, and printing out information.

We offer access to free legal advice, benefits checks, help to find cheaper energy deals, credit union, budgeting, savings and cheap loans, and free use of the internet and telephone for business calls.  We also have a large selection of leaflets giving information on a wide range of topics, including many health conditions, and are able to signpost people to other agencies as appropriate.

Other services we offer include Telephone Befriending and Helping Hands schemes for older people, School Uniform recycling, and Lost and Found Property for Alsager. There are plans for new services to begin in the near future including Community Transport.

All our services are completely free of charge, and any information given is held in strictest confidence.

We are open Monday – Friday mornings, 9.30 - 12.30, and most Thursday and Fridays until 2.30 pm (limited services in afternoons). Phone 01270 876605, or email us on
