Vision

Mission Statement

Our Mission as a church and why we believe we exist is  as follows...

To give every man, woman and child the opportunity to hear the good news about Jesus and to accept Him, if they choose, as their Lord and Saviour. This means they will be forgiven for the wrong things they have done and welcomed into His family.

Following this decision, we exist to teach and train them so that they can grow in their faith.

This Mission is to be forwarded through clear, relevant & accurate communication of the teachings of the Bible alongside practical demonstration of God's love and care for the individual. This is expressed in our vision statement below.

Practically this is currently happens through...

  • the work of our activities (Sunday Programme, Coffee shop, Community Support Centre, Little Treasures, Messy Time, etc),
  • the mobilisation and witness of our membership reaching out to family, friends and others,
  • partnership with other local groups such as churches together and
  • through financial support of other Christian based agencies who seek to carry out such work and with whom we have formed connection and ongoing partnership.

Vision

When people ask "what's your vision?", they usually refer to what might really be considered to be goals- the tangible things you want to do. Such goals do indeed form part of our ongoing and developing vision at Alsager Community Church but are only part of the story. We believe vision must first describe what you want to be and also what matters to you...

Our basic vision can be seen on our logo: We want to be a Church with a Heart for God, for each other, for the Community and for the world. We have already unpacked this a bit on our welcome page.

Values

Our Values state what is important to us- priorities! They remind us what is important and define how we journey towards the destination of our Mission and Vision statements. They are...

These values effectively define and describe who we are and how we work. They are the things that matter to us.

They overlap as we recognise that these things often do in practice and as you see while the work of the Holy Spirit is not one of the four, as a Pentecostal church it is very important to us and the spiral is designed to show that it intertwines and surrounds all of the values and everything we do.

Goals

From the above come our goals for the year. The video below is a presentation of our goals for 2018!
